If you are looking to get married in a "garden" setting, the Ginny Power Garden best fits your wildest dreams! It is also situated on the banks of the Tennessee River. So even though you would be in downtown Chattanooga, your wedding ceremony would be surrounded by the garden and beautiful view of the river. How good is a "garden wedding" if you are surrounded by buildings and vehicle traffic noise? Their ceremony garden is located away from city streets.
So I recommend the Ginny Power Garden as the BEST wedding ceremony garden in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. Cherry Wilson, Event Venues in Chattanooga

Review from family of a garden wedding & reception, April 28, 2012:
Sue,
Thanks again for everything you did to make "their" day so special. I especially appreciated the attention to every detail from the whimsical garden, to the private dinner in the garden for the bride and groom after the ceremony, to the spectacular reception in the clubhouse. Every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations.
The garden was even more beautiful than we could have anticipated. The sunset as the wedding concluded and the lanterns that lit the garden made for a breath-taking ceremony. Guests were able to enjoy the charm of the garden throughout the reception if they desired. My niece especially enjoyed spending time with her grandmother in the garden after the wedding, referring to it as the "princess garden."
Thank you once again for all of your advice, suggestions, and assistance during the entire process. You were extremely accommodating, and I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone in Chattanooga seeking a premiere outdoor wedding venue. (JG042812)

REVIEW FROM MOTHER-OF-THE BRIDE/April 2011 W&WR
Dear Sue, and the entire staff at Zan Guerry Clubhouse.
I would like to take a minute to express my appreciation for all the wonderful help I received when my daughter got married at your facility in April. From the moment we booked our date, up until the day of the wedding, I was completely satisfied with all our arrangements and plans.
When I first met with you and went over what we wanted, you started working on making our special day, just that. I was very nervous, because we live in another state, and we had to travel back and forth to make all our wedding arrangements. You were able to accommodate me each time I came to town and very helpful in giving me local information.. You made every effort to ensure that we were taken care of. I was very impressed with the actual grounds. The landscaping and maintenance at the clubhouse made the background for our photos beautiful.
My daughter and I both were very thrilled by the very personal touches that you provided in the dressing area the day of the wedding. My daughter and her friends had a wonderful day.
I would highly recommend the Manker Patten Tennis Club to anyone looking and planning for a beautiful, intimate, wedding by the river. I also found that rates were very competitive, especially when you consider the location. We got to use the entire clubhouse and grounds, and were offered hours and options than other venues in the area did not offer.

REVIEW FROM ZAN GUERRY CLUBHOUSE BRIDE: J.S. , July 23, 2011
My experience with Manker Patten was nothing short of perfect! As soon as I walked into Manker Patten I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. The view on the river, the wrap around porch, the beautiful club house and the Ginny Powers Garden was everything I imagined my wedding would be. As a stressed out bride, Sue was always available for meetings and ready with ideas and suggestions to calm my nerves. I will always look back on my wedding as everything I wanted it to be! Thank you to all the Manker Patten staff that worked so hard to make my day as amazing as it was.

Review from mother-of-the-bride; September 10, 2011:
Sue: Thank you for all your help for our wedding. The place looked amazing. There was so many people coming up to me and saying that it was the prettiest wedding they have ever been to. We only added a few roses to the pots and thats it. It is just so beautiful down there by the water. The clubhouse also looked amazing. I also loved the tent , gives it a great wedding look. We picked the most amazing venue and vendors. There is nothing like it in the Chattanooga area. I don't even think there is a place like this in Atlanta. So many girls from other cities that was there was asking about it. Thanks again for everything. CH 091011
